Need something made? We can make it for you.
Not everyone wants a membership and a Saturday afternoon with a laser cutter. If you have one thing that needs building — a prototype, a part, a run of 200 — our sister company OCreate takes it from idea to finished product.
Two ways to get your project made
The Makr Lab and OCreate are run by the same people, in the same city, with the same equipment. The only question is who runs the machine.
The Makr Lab — Membership
You want to learn the tools, build the thing yourself, and keep coming back. Membership gets you the workspace, the equipment, and people who will show you how it all works.
Best if: you are a hobbyist, a maker, a cosplayer, a tinkerer, or you have a lot of projects ahead of you.
OCreate — Commissioned Projects
You want the finished part in your hands. Send us the file or just describe the idea, approve a quote, and we build it — no membership, no learning curve, no minimum.
Best if: you have one project, a deadline, a product to launch, or no interest in operating the machines yourself.
Still not sure? Tell us what you are trying to make and we will point you to whichever side makes more sense — even if that means less money for us.
What OCreate can build
Rapid prototyping, small-batch manufacturing, and custom fabrication out of Orange County.
3D Printing
FDM and resin printing for prototypes, fixtures, replacement parts, props, and short production runs.
Laser Cutting & Engraving
Precision cutting and engraving in acrylic, wood, leather, anodized metal, and more — signage, panels, enclosures, awards, and gifts.
CNC Machining & Routing
Milled and routed parts in plastics, composites, and soft metals when a printed part will not hold up.
Prototyping
Turning a sketch, a CAD file, or a rough idea into something you can hold, test, and show to a customer or an investor.
Small-Batch Production
Single units through hundreds of pieces, with the same shop that made your prototype — so nothing gets lost in the handoff.
DTF Transfers
Direct-to-film transfers for apparel and merch — full color, small runs, no screen setup fees.
From idea to finished part
Tell us about it
Upload a file or describe what you need. If you are not sure what is possible, that is a fine place to start.
Get a quote
Use the instant estimator for 3D prints, or send it over for a custom quote on everything else.
Approve and build
We confirm materials, tolerances, and timeline, then get it on a machine.
Pick up or ship
Collect it locally in Orange County or have it shipped to you.
Would you rather learn to make it yourself?
That is what The Makr Lab is for. Memberships get you workspace, tools, and a community that will happily talk you through your first laser cut.
